and DEVILS.

You must have heard something about angels.

Everyday of our lives, we are bombarded with stories of people who have seen angels. These stories differ, ranging from the more dramatic ones (where Angel Michael shows up, winged, blinding white light, and in a shiny sword to say “Fear not”) to the very simple ones (where you simply see a light and you know it was an angel).

However, Who are Angels according to the scriptures?

1. Angels are spirit beings. Heb. 1:7

2. Angels are ministering spirits. Heb. 1:14

3. Angels are messengers sent to execute what God has promised, i.e. they minister the Word of God. Every promise in God’s Word are delivered by angels. They act based on the Word of God. Psalms 103:20. Angels bring manifestations and confirmations of the confessed Word under the control of the Spirit.

Ten Things Angels Do

  1. They minister strength to us. (Luke 22:43) Jesus could die on the cross and not die midway because angels strengthened him for the journey of crucifixion.
  1. Angels are sent by God to give directions. Acts 10:5
  2. Angels bring understanding to us. (Dan. 9:21)
  3. Angels are the ones in charge of the ministry of deliverance. (Acts 12:7TPT) They are partners in the
deliverance room and you need to give them instructions.
  4. Angels are sent to us for protection. (Psalms 91:11)
  5. Favour: Angels make people to love us. (Gen 24: 40, 63). Angels organize our paths and order our steps.
Angels orchestrated Isaac’s and Rebecca’s meeting. Demonic activity is making people be at the wrong place at the wrong time.
  6. Provision: Angels showed Hagar where the well was in the book of Genesis too.
  7. They bring judgement. Recall how two angels were sent to destroy the city of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Angels dealt with Ananais, Sapphirah and Herod in the New Testament too.
  8. Foretelling: (Acts 27:23) They tell us about things to come.
  9. Healing: Angels bring healing. (John 5:4)

DEVILS.

Regardless of whatever shape, form, rank or size, devils are categorized into three groups.

Again, it is important to note that the “littlest” believer is greater than the “biggest” devil ever found. 1 John4:4 proves that to be true.

a) Fallen angels: These are those who followed Lucifer during the rebellion and were cast down. (Rev.12:7-9)

b) Bound angels: (Jude 1:16) These are Angels that left their habitation and are now in Tartarus. (Gen6:1 NLT). The term “Sons of God” mentioned here were not used for men. Men began to be called sons of God after redemption had taken place.

(Man + Angels = Nephilims.)

These were the species of giants God sent the flood specifically to, with the intention to wipe them away from the face of the Earth. This was because they were on a mission to corrupt all flesh; not just men, but including animals. So their children became evil spirits as the flood made them disembodied, roaming beings with a spirit looking for bodies to possess.

Spirits can reproduce. According to (Gen 1:28), Adam could not die because he was created dead and then, Spirit was breathed into him. Cain was born differently, he was born alive with a spirit, body and a soul.
Gen. 3:15 The seed of the woman mentioned here is Jesus. In Luke 1:35, the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and she became pregnant with Jesus. Then, the seed of the serpent could be multiplied through men to birth non humans as well as humans too.

In these last days, devils seek to sap people of strength and the will to stay in God’s plan. This why angels are being gathered and why you need to actively deploy and put your angels to work!
